HabAid raises funds to support a number of charities in Israel, the UK and elsewhere in the world, whose primary purpose is helping disabled and disadvantaged children.

Dear Friends and Supporters,

2017 proved to be an exceptional year for us, one in which we exceeded all expectations in the money we have raised for the causes we serve. A truly inspirational year concluded with our Annual Gala Dinner held on 16th November 2017 at the Sheraton Park Lane.

In May 2017, our focus was on hosting the UK Premier of Sylvia: Tracing Blood being shown at the JW3 Centre, with a Q&A after the showing with award winning director Saxon Logan. Based on the number of attendees and the response of the film audience to the Q&A session, I would urge you to see the film when you get the opportunity. It was a fascinating story about a remarkable woman.

August was a busy month too. HabAid’s sponsorship of the Langdon football team came to fruition and we are delighted to be supporting Langdon. It was a pleasure to see our logo emblazoned across the players’ shirts during a recent competitive match.  Later in the same month, we were once again able to deliver a HabAid Driving Event day, giving memorable driving experiences for the children of Camp Simcha.  The children were driven around country lanes in some of the worlds finest super-cars, including Ferrari’s, Porsche’s, Lamborghini’s and Aston Martins. Plus the children were suited and booted and given the opportunity to drive go-karts at the Daytona Raceway facility in Milton Keynes.  There was also face painting, laser-tag gaming and a bouncy castle, to ensure everyone’s needs were met.

We now turn to our focus to 2018, where we are planning several exciting fund raising events and with your continued help, we hope to break all previous targets and raise enough to provide funds to even more much needed causes in helping the terminally ill and underprivileged children we work for.

Whilst I remain humbled by the support HabAid has attracted from its donors and supporters, our work is never done. We continue in our relentless pursuit to make a difference to the lives of children still suffering worldwide. Your generosity does change the lives of hundreds of young children who will have opportunities that previously they could only dream of.

It never ceases to amaze me how British people turn their attention to the plight of less fortunate children when called upon to help. I am proud to announce that we are working hard to ensure 2018 will be an outstanding year in the history of HabAid.

Please help us to achieve even more for our HabAid charities. There are a number of ways you can help today:

  • Come to our Annual Gala evening in November 2018
  • Take a advertisement page in our 2018 Gala Event Brochure
  • Ask for your entry into the Children’s Name page in our brochure
  • Sponsor all or part of our 2018 events
  • Donate on-line – any amount will help – we are all voluntary workers on the committee, so 100% of your donation goes to our causes

Thank you all for your magnificent contributions and continued support.
